Donors are given cardboard boxes to hold clothing, accessories, and household items. Then everything is taken to sorting centers, where the items are divided into two categories. Some are donated directly to families in need, while the other portion is sold, with the proceeds going to humanitarian projects.
  • Parishes. Check with your local parish: they'll probably hold regular collections of used clothing to donate to families and individuals in need.
