Coffeeroom: How Coffee Waste Is Made into High-Quality Thermoplastic

Coffeefrom is an innovative startup addressing the problem of coffee waste by transforming it into high-quality thermoplastic materials. Collaborating with partners specializing in research and compounding, Coffeefrom develops bio-based and recycled materials for application in numerous industrial sectors. Coffeefrom uses advanced injection molding technologies to transform used coffee grounds into thermoplastic products, incorporating biopolymers such as PLA and recycled LDPE. These materials are not only sustainable, but also high-performance and biodegradable, helping reduce environmental impact. Coffeefrom's goal is to expand the use of recycled coffee grounds, promoting sustainable waste management, and raising awareness of the benefits of the circular economy.
