CLEAN COAST SARDINIA

Alone, without asking anyone's permission, Anna Kowalska, broom and basket in hand, she started cleaning beaches in Poetto, in the Gulf of Cagliari. Plastic, cigarette butts cigarettes, tissues. Everything. But the smartest move of the woman, an English teacher of Polish origin, was to put everything on social, to involve other people as well, and make his gesture go viral and contagious.

Anna has decided to share her commitment and give it a name: "Clean Coast Sardinia," which in Italian means "clean the coasts of Sardinia." With this slogan, she has created a website, a Facebook page, and an Instagram profile, through which urges everyone he comes across to preserve the sea, one of Sardinia's most envied assets. Over time, followers of his initiative have multiplied, and soon the emulation gestures have also increased, in a true race "to see who cleans the most".

CLEANING THE BEACHES

Anna's "mission" began a long time ago. This young woman wasn't born on the island and comes from Poland. However, she fell in love with its beaches in 2014, when she arrived in Sassari to teach English at school. Since then, every time she goes to the beach, she puts a bag in her bag. a bag and a glove which is always ready to take out to collect the waste he stumbles upon. Over time, he began involving friends and other acquaintances in his work and discovered that there are countless well-intentioned people willing to roll up their sleeves to preserve Sardinia's coasts.
