Homemade cereal biscuits

Cooking takes about a quarter of an hour, but they should rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. You can also use any crumbs and leftover cereal.

Cereal biscuits, a healthy and genuine food, precious for breakfast, are very expensive and the price does not always correspond to expectations, even in terms of quality.Instead, with this easy recipe you can prepare them at home in a short time and always have them on hand for your breakfast. 

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of flour
  • 300 grams of cereals (chop them up or choose the crumbs or pieces that remain at the bottom of the package before finishing it)
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Start by pouring the mixture into a bowl flour, cereals, yeast, the sugar and a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan. After mixing the various ingredients well, add the melted butter and the two eggs and mix again until the mixture is smooth and compact.
  • At this point, let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and in the meantime, flatten the dough with a rolling pin and begin shaping it as you like.
  • After shaping the biscuits, bake them for at least 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown, and then serve with lots of delicious fresh seasonal fruit.
