Italy has a big heart, and fortunately, when needed, it knows how to show it. In these days of emergencies on multiple fronts, the most delicate situation concerns healthcare, and also all the workers who work in the sector: doctors, nurses, and porters, busy with grueling shifts in congested hospitals. Many of them have traveled for work, arriving in Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany, leaving their loved ones behind and having to resort to renting accommodation where they can return between shifts.

FREE HOUSES FOR DOCTORS AND NURSES
One of the hottest virus alert areas is the city of Milan, currently busy completing the new hospital for Covid-19 patients in the Fiera area, which will require additional staff. The Best Rent, specialized in short and medium term rentals, has therefore launched a special solidarity initiative, #cimettolacasa, Providing free apartments as a sign of solidarity and gratitude for the efforts of doctors and nurses. Demand for housing is high, not only for those moving to Milan from other parts of the country but also for those who, despite living in the city, have decided to secure a place to sleep to protect other family members, especially the elderly. And not just homes: the tenant will not have to worry about cleaning the apartment; the cleaning and sanitization company Alter-Area Domus will do it completely free of charge and in solidarity.
The initiative of The Best Rent, already has around a hundred apartments to live in and will be active until April 3rd, obviously with the possibility of extending it to any extension periods according to decrees and ordinances. Doctors and paramedics can request the availability of an apartment by contacting the number 02.36683400 or by writing to [email protected], which is something that owners who wish to offer accommodation can also do.
