BOLLATE PRISON RESTAURANT –

The cuisine is characterised by the choice of raw materials, high quality, and for a menu elaborate, but with a excellent value for money.
The average cost for a starter and a main course, plus wine, is around 20-25 euro.

The idea of a restaurant inside the prison she came to the former director in 2004, Lucia Castellano, and was carried forward by the new manager, Massimo Parisi.

And always the Cooperative, thanks to the support of Cariplo Foundation, Ministry of Justice, PWC Paolo Frisi Institute , Vismara Foundation, has also taken on this new challenge, which promises to be a great success.

The goal, as Silvia Polleri explained to us, is to "offer regularly employed inmates the opportunity to re-engage in the culture of work through professional training, but above all through empowerment."

These important projects offer new hope and opportunities to those "in prison" as they prepare to serve their sentences. It's no coincidence, then, that the recidivism rate in Bollate is only 20%.
