This special metro system is equipped with protected lanes, where the maximum speed limit for cars is 30 kilometers per hour, absolute priority is given to all motor vehicles, and there are connections between the different lines. These are a network that has now reached 86 kilometers of route, capable of reaching all strategic points of the city. The administration aims to reach 100 km in a few years, convinced that the Bicipolitana represents not only a major health and environmental infrastructure, but also an economic one.
