ROADS WITH RECYCLED RUBBER ASPHALT –
Safer roads, less dangerous for drivers, and less noisy for those living nearby: recycling , as always, when it becomes an innovative activity, even with strong impacts on the economy and employment, improves our quality of life . This is the case with the recycling of used tires , the ones we've so often seen burning in the dramatic images of the Land of Fires. Thanks to modern, constantly evolving technology, these tires can be recovered, recycled, and reused to pave roads.
ROADS WITH RECYCLED ASPHALT –
As a result, thanks to the high-quality polymers contained in a tire, the performance of a road surface improves exponentially . How? The noise of the car's tires in contact with the road is reduced . The pavement lasts longer and has lower maintenance costs. Rainwater is drained more effectively, making the road surface safer in case of rain. The surface is more solid, cracks and fissures are less frequent, and thus road repairs (and the related waste of money and time) are reduced.

SAFE ROADS WITH RECYCLED RUBBER ASPHALT –
Tire recycling in Italy is making significant progress. Twenty-seven provinces have already constructed significant stretches of road with modified bitumen using recycled rubber , resulting in less wasteful use of tires. In total, we already have 342 kilometers of modified asphalt road surfaces , particularly in the following regions: Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Tuscany, and Trentino-Alto Adige. Now, it's time to scale up and spread this road change, in the spirit of "No Waste," throughout the country.
