Le leaves Falling leaves that fill the parks and streets of our cities during the fall and winter, and in some cases even during the warmer months, are a veritable goldmine for those who want to try their hand at creative recycling. You know this well. Omid Asadi, artist Iranian which, precisely through the dead leaves, expresses all its creativity, giving life to real works.
Great lover of art and nature, Omid, born in Iran in 1979 and then moved to Great Britain, in Manchester, which you can find on his website, does not have a training artistic but on the contrary very pragmaticAfter his studies, he became an engineer, but once he moved to England, he decided to pursue his great passion: engraving. What makes him unique in the world, however, is the material he uses, at the same time malleable and very delicateA preference for leaves that dates back to his childhood when he loved to create shapes on those fallen from trees or on the petals of Pink, using a needle. Today he uses various engraving techniques to which he dedicates a lot of discipline and time. What gives him the most strength, beyond the joy of the finished work, is the desire to tell a story, taking advantage of the possibility of give new life to what seems dead or unusable, just like the leaves falling from the trees. Sculptures, paintings, installations: Omid Asadi's artistic work is very broad, and includes more conceptual pieces, such as portraits taken from photographs of real people.
