Technology , however, can help all of us consumers break out of this dead end. This is the case with Beeta , a smart smartphone app that helps you understand how to make all your home energy consumption more efficient, and how to reduce waste and unnecessary costs.

Almost a game, conceived by the Apulian company Tera, founded by Antonio Sacchetti , which specializes in automation for energy efficiency . A very advantageous game for consumers, considering that Beeta operates on three levels.

Beeta app is an application available for Android and iOS that is very similar to a video game . Those who download the app can interact with the system through an original game consisting of a series of "missions," short tests consisting of a few questions at a time about the characteristics of your home and its consumption . Each time a mission is completed, you receive points that accumulate and help you climb the rankings of other registered users.

HOW THE BEETA APP WORKS

By providing useful information to define the characteristics of their home (in terms of current energy consumption), users will receive points that will help them rank higher, personalized energy saving tips , and information on their energy consumption profile thanks to an original algorithm that evaluates the structure of the home, type of systems, and usage habits.

Then there are the "special missions" that allow you to get personalized advice on how to save energy , and therefore money , simply by entering consumption data from various meters. Thanks to the data collected and the new missions, which will activate a second calculation model, the " Beeta " algorithm will enter "self-learning" mode and provide more precise indications, allowing each user to achieve maximum awareness of their energy consumption , of how "energy-hungry" their home is, and of the potential savings achievable with more virtuous behaviors to, ultimately, save on bills . The Beeta system will be introduced to the market at the end of the trial phase.
