ZOE GOES AGAINST THE CURRENT APP FOR CHILDREN –
All parents should have it built into their smartphones. Especially because, for once, the well-known Eurocrats in Brussels have done something useful to combat energy waste. It's an app developed by the European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment: “Zoe goes against the grain”, which can be downloaded for free on both iOS and Android and is an app designed for children aged 7 to 11.

It is an interactive story in which the protagonists They are two very curious children, Zoe and Pedro who, under the guidance of Fred, a wise Frog Prince, they discover the importance of water for society, one of the most precious goods, and above all they understand how fundamental it is to avoid waste andpollution.
Following the adventures of Zoe, Pedro and Fred, the children little by little they learn in an engaging way how important respecting resources is at our disposal and above all they deepen their knowledge of the hydrological cycle and water treatment. Thanks to the many animations and the remarkable interactivity, the app stimulates children's attention and learning..
There is also one online version of the story, accompanied by teaching notes for teachers who wish to promote this story in their classrooms. Both the app and the online version of the story are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Polish.
