Mazzanti, whose family business history began with a small rotisserie in Florence, belongs to a minority of entrepreneurs with far-sighted vision, and he's certainly not making this gift out of generosity alone. He knows his employees' hardships well, with soaring inflation and salaries virtually stagnant for twenty years, and so, to motivate them and start the year on the right foot, he decided to indulge in this extra expense, which, after all, is worth no more than a million euros. Money definitely not wasted.
