What to Know About Mark Zuckerberg

Privacy is dead. One of the pillars of freedom, dignity, and security for all of us has been demolished, and today we live monitored, spied on, followed, without a shred of privacy. Video cameras slip under our sheets, surveilling us while we're behind our desks, and an avalanche of garbage, almost always primarily targeting women, with bodies virtually raped and filthy comments, is amplified and fed to an indistinct multitude labeled as “the people of followers”, in whose bowels resentment, hatred, morbid and sometimes perverse intrusion into the lives of others, and lack of respect for the most basic human rights grow and feed.

We can consider the murder of privacy as one of the most gigantic wastes of man, imprisoned and enslaved by technology, the absolute master of time and space, but also as a true perfect crime, apparently without culprits, with many victims and no clearly identified executioner. And yet, like all self-respecting crimes, even the killing of privacy ha ha his killers, among whom the number one is certainly Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, a truly special guy.

His story is well-known, and deserves to be remembered with some very significant details. The undisputed talent of Zuckerberg, the son of a dentist and a shrink, now forty, but still with the face and smile of an eternal boy, was evident already during his adolescence. As a child, he created a program to connect the rooms of his father's dental office, and while studying at Harvard, he combined computer science and psychology. (evidently he already thinks he can get into our heads). And since he created Facebook in February 2004, the supposedly good guy has done nothing but accumulate, at a dizzying rate, innovation, money, power and unscrupulous changes, starting with a constant and global destruction of privacy, up to its elimination. A perfect crime, indeed.

More than once it has come out that the man at the head of the Meta empire (the new name of Facebook which also includes WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Threads, Reality Labs), It has the bad habit of collecting the data of millions of users (its famous followers) without their consent; of failing to protect the privacy of those who access its platforms and of allowing third parties to use them (certainly not free of charge) without a shred of transparency.

This systematic violation of privacy, parallel to the pervasive tentacles of social media collected by Mr. Zuckerberg like a collection of football stickers, to the detriment of any competition and to gain a (near) monopoly on the market, is not a whim, nor an inevitable result of the functioning of an increasingly expansive technology.

Violating privacy brings in money, lots of money. It allows you to have important data and generate advertising (a sector in which Facebook has a dominant position, together with another web giant, Google). It brings power: Zuckerberg has been indicated, for example, as the real king maker of the former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, with elections dominated by his web machine. And now, while he presumably has the power to influence any electoral contest, he is seen wagging his tail at the White House, at the court of Donald Trump, always in the front row: the clear signal of an alliance in which a good guy not only wants to bow his head to the President, but also to continue doing his business as best he can, undisturbed.

On the occasion of his 15th birthday, it was also discovered that the 50 percent of Facebook users was false. It wasn't the taxi drivers in Palo Alto who said it, but an independent company, PlainSite, which in America is responsible for monitoring the activities of the web universe. In a 70-page report, it emerged that the fake profiles on Facebook and its surroundings are a veritable ocean, in terms of portraying the vastness of the phenomenon. So much so that the company's own executives had to delete 700 million users in just a few days. Fake, indeed. And, it seems, a drop in the ocean governed by Mr. Mark's winking smiles.

Again, speaking of flaws and obvious waste: the young man seems to have completely lost his control of fake news, and the horrors that circulate on social media. In the cesspool of this simultaneously opaque and powerful world, useful information can also be exchanged to make a DIY bomb. Can you imagine? Obviously, this isn't just a crime. of Zuckerberg himself, but certainly the feeling is that the steering wheel has slipped from the driver's hands, too busy cultivating his personal ambitions and above all his wallet. And in any case, in the face of so many promises and so many commitments made using amazing technological tools, the Meta machine does not seem interested in really stopping the garbage it feeds on the web, including open groups, as in the case of My Wife & the like, where they can freely let off steam, while violating the privacy of women, unscrupulous and brainless men.

Mark, despite the ever-increasing competition in terms of wealth among web billionaires, remains one of the richest men in the world, and continues, even mockingly, to preach his “worldview,” which a certain effrontery passes off as “revolutionary” and “open to all.”

Two examples, but the list could really be very long. Mark continues to want us to believe, and poor things are those who fall for this lying narrative, that his empire, in his own words, is "at the service of all","to offer more transparency"and "give more and more opportunities to people, to families and small businesses”. Facebook and its surroundings at the “service of all”? Social media are certainly an extraordinary opportunity, also for our site and for our Non sprecare community, but no one comes to tell us that these are tools created to act as good Samaritans. Here they circulate money, interests (for a few, rather than for all…) and so much rubbish (Not the "transparency" Mark talks about). And every day, every hour, every minute, the most blatant violation of privacy occurs. The one first defined way back in 1890, in a journal published by Harvard University (where our little genius studied), in clear and simple words: "The right to be left alone." From anyone who might be a nuisance and from the prying eyes of anyone.

About "transparency“There's a curious, yet significant, detail worth sharing: our crafty little guy should have the grace to explain how, when, and why he truly became a convinced vegetarian. A former friend of his recounted that, during a dinner at Zuckerberg's house, with him cooking (smart internet users are usually also geeks in the kitchen), he discovered that the young vegetarian had the habit of serving goats, lobsters, and pigs. All animals he personally killed, with a stun gun and then stabbed. Meanwhile, Mark is sharing photos on his social media of his candid smile as he petted a kitten.

Second huge lie: Zuckerberg states, again literally, that for him, "technology has always represented the possibility of putting power in the hands of as many people as possible." But where did he see this film? And perhaps he had smoked some opiates? The truth, embodied by Mark himself, is that the only real power created by Facebook is his and that of his colleagues, web billionaires. That is, a power protected by several decisive factors: a huge mass of liquidity, thanks in part to a gigantic and global tax evasion; a concentration of interests in the same hands unprecedented in human history; a grip, let's say a grab, of the advertising market, in which Facebook and Google are bringing newspapers, radio stations, television stations, and even websites to their knees. All affected and sunk by the duopoly of the pair. Facebook-Google which have in fact taken over, leaving the crumbs to others, the advertising revenue pie which concerns the entire information system, that is, a presidio For that democracy That Mark claims to defend, but is actually trying to destroy. With the unwitting and unsolicited help, but through a thousand subterfuges, of billions of users—in this case, unfortunately for them, genuine, not fake. And stripped of their natural right to privacy.
