DIY garden composter

Method

Let's see then, step by step, how to build a garden composter:

• Build a cylinder with a wire mesh with 1 cm links and then secure it with plastic ties. At the base of the cylinder, use wire cutters to cut a 20/30 cm window.
• Then get yourself some duct tape and cover the entire detached part along the perimeter. Then, reattach the window to the cylinder using the cable ties.
• With two 80×80 mesh squares with 2 cm meshMake two bases. Cover the top base (which will become the composter's lid) with a green shading cloth, and use the same cloth to cover the entire outside of the cylinder.
• Remember that, once the scraps are inserted, It takes 1 to 6 months for the soil called compost to form.The time varies depending on the type of waste disposed of.

Alternatively, you can try to build the garden composter using raw, chemically untreated wooden planks or palletsIn the latter case, the procedure is quite simple:

• Get yourself some pallets and some bricks with which to create a raised shelf on which to place the first pallet.
• Subsequently, using some wooden boards, fix the remaining pallets to the base and to each other.
