“The land is not a good that we inherited from our fathers, but it is a good that we borrow from our children”. This is one of the mottos that stands out on the website of Paolo, Marco and Kiko, three Sicilian boys, all around 30 years old, who managed to perform a miracle: they did not abandon their land, and thanks to a philosophy of a “Do not waste” production they have set up a good economic activity in the sector ofagricultureThe project, born in 2003, is called Farmers by passion, and here you can really see a lot of passion, and it develops on an area of ​​2,5 hectares of orange and citrus grove and 5 hectares of olive grove, which Paolo and Marco inherited from their parents.

SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION

This little miracle took shape in Ribera, in the province of Agrigento, where the group of Farmers by passion, dividing the tasks, carries out a project in an area where usually the oranges They're wasted, left to rot on the ground, or sold off to large retailers at prices ranging between 0,10 and 0,20 cents per kilo.
