Homemade liquid laundry detergent

Necessary

• Immersion blender
• Pot and lid
• Wooden spoon

• 200 g of soda ash (Soda solvay)
• 100 g of bicarbonate
• 2 lt of water

• 10 drops of tea tree essential oil to sanitize
• 120 g of vegetable soap flakes

Method

• Take the vegetable soap (Marseille or other) and grate it. If you want to skip this step, you can find ready-made soap flakes in health food stores.
• Boil water in a pot and pour in the soap flakes. Stir well until the flakes are completely absorbed.
• Add the bicarbonate and the carbonate and blend the mixture with the immersion blender.
• Transfer the mixture into the empty bottle and add the drops of essential oil.
• Let it rest and stir occasionally.
• Shake vigorously before using the detergent.
• It can be stored for approximately 35 days in a cool, dry place.
• It is used in the washing machine, like a normal laundry detergent.
