Here's the last of our Christmas tree ideas: to create something truly unique and original, to break with traditions that are reduced to repetitive habits, we suggest a very special one. Made with the recycling old telephone directory paper and the old Yellow Pages or Tutto Città. This is a huge amount of paper, often unnecessary and unused as we now prefer the Internet even for finding numbers and addresses. Instead, with a fun DIY game, you can beautify your home. Here are the materials you need and the procedure to follow, which we took from the website Trend House.
Necessary
- An old telephone directory (alternatively use an old catalog or a magazine you've already read)
- A wooden stick
- A wooden base
- Glue for paper and wood
Method
To begin, open the list in half and then fold the first page diagonally toward the center. Fold the bottom edge upwards, and then fold the top edge diagonally toward the center. This will form the triangle that will form the outline of the Christmas tree.
Proceed in the same way until you have folded all the pages.
- At this point, remove the cover and lay out the glue on the spine by adhering the wooden stick and joining the first and last pages.
Once the glue is dry, place your DIY Christmas tree on the wooden base.
Now all you have to do is top it with a pretty little star made from leftover wrapping paper. Your recycled Christmas tree is ready to be displayed.
