How to make chocolate swirl

The swivel to the chocolate It's a dessert much loved by the generation of children who grew up in the 80s. It's possible to prepare this delight at home, with healthy and simple ingredients, to please both adults and children. Ideal as a snack with a hot chocolate or for breakfast accompanied by milk, the recipe for chocolate swirl will reconcile the children of yesterday and those of today.

Ingredients

  • 50 g flour
  • 50 g of starch
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 sachet of vanilla yeast
  •  A pinch of salt

Preparation

  • Combine the sugar, pinch of salt, and eggs in a stand mixer or food processor and knead for about 10 minutes until the dough becomes fluffy.
  • Sift the flour and starch and incorporate them while continuing to knead.
  • Add the vanilla yeast.
  • Pour and level the resulting mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 30 minutes at 160 degrees.
  • As soon as the cake is ready, remove it from the oven and cover it, while still warm, with a damp, wrung-out cotton cloth. This will keep the cake soft enough for the rolls.
  • Once it has cooled, spread generously with hazelnut cream and roll the dough up.
  • Now you can cut the slices that will make the rolls.
  • Finally, melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie and dip one of the two flat sides of the swirl into the chocolate.
  • Let the rolls cool and enjoy them with the whole family.
