For over eleven years Yasuo Takamatsu continues to search, diving into the depths of the Pacific Ocean, his wife Yuko, disappeared following the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011.

That cursed day, the Tohoku area on the east coast of Japan, was hit by the most powerful tsunami in the country's history, the fourth in world history. The death toll was 20, and thousands of people have never been found. Like Yuko, a bank employee, swept away with all her colleagues while he was working. Since then Yasuo has not wasted a day in finding the woman of his eternal loveHe took lessons from a diving instructor and transformed himself into a diver in search of the woman's body.

He is alive by a miracleAs a bus driver, he wasn't on duty the same day his wife disappeared, March 11th, and thus managed to avoid disaster. Now 65, his age hasn't stopped him from frantically searching for a proper burial for his wife. However, so far the only thing he's found is a cell phone.
